Resident feedback and service improvement update

You Said, We Did shows how resident feedback leads to service improvements. It highlights what residents told us, the actions we took, and the positive changes made as a result, demonstrating that resident voices are important to us, heard and acted on.

We would like to thank all residents who have taken the time to share their feedback. Your insights help us improve our services, strengthen our communities, and continue to focus on the things that matter most to you.

New Tools to Support ASB Investigations

You said…

You told us that ongoing noise disturbances and anti-social behaviour could be difficult to evidence and resolve.

We Did...

  • We trialled a noise monitoring app and, following a successful pilot, secured a licence for ongoing use. The app helps residents record noise disturbances and supports the ASB Team in gathering evidence and investigating complaints.

Working Together for Safer Communities

You said…

You raised concerns about anti-social behaviour, intimidation, drug use, loitering, and non-residents causing disruption in communal areas.

We Did...

  • We continue to work closely with residents, Housing teams, and external agencies, including An Garda Síochána where appropriate, to investigate concerns, improve community safety, and support safer neighbourhoods.

Heating Systems and Heat Pumps

You said…

  • You would like clearer information about heating systems, including heat pumps and underfloor heating, before moving into your new home.

We Did...

We have added a handy Heat Pump Guide to every new resident Welcome Pack, helping you understand how your heating system works and how to get the most from it.

Utility Providers

You said…

Information about utility providers was not always clear when moving into a new home.

We Did...

  • We now provide clearer information about utility providers during the pre-tenancy process, helping you get set up more easily before moving in.

Your Housing Officer

You said…

It was not always clear who your Housing Officer was or who to contact for support.

We Did...

  • Housing Officers play a key role in welcoming new residents, completing onboarding activities and delivering pre-tenancy presentations, helping you build a connection from the very start.

Reporting Repairs

You said…

You would like clearer information about how to contact the Repairs Team and report a repair.

We Did...

  • We have enhanced our pre-tenancy presentations to include detailed guidance on reporting repairs, making it easier to know who to contact and what to expect. We also introduced a new Freephone number, 1800 852 751, making it easier and free for residents to contact us and log a repair through the Customer service team. Repairs can also be reported though the Tuath website Tenant home – Tuath Housing
